![]() The memories people have are irreplaceable, and they hold emotional value. What was that time when the kid you had a crush on as a little kid helped you on the playground, or that time Grandpa held you on his knee and said told you you were his special grandchild that he could be proud of, or that time when you stepped into a new school surrounded by unfamiliar territory and that one friend popped in your face saying, "HI!"! Life is full of moments like those: and there are certain photographers that strive to capture moments that are memories- moments that are stories-- moments that have value. My friend Wilfredo did that to me: and it opened up a floodgate of moments with treasured memories I shall never ever forget. <3 =) At my highschool, Stratford Classical Christian Academy, I get to have the privilege of leading the Yearbook committee. Yearbooks are exactly for that purpose-- to make a photo history book of the school year. It has value, because people remember moments that trigger stories or events or emotions in their minds and hearts. It has purpose, because everyone is involved in it and brings the school together as one. It has a storybook value, for its layout and content tell a story of what the school's motto and goal is, and what the students are like-- what their goals are too as students. Moments are memories. Memories that are captured in each photo in a school yearbook are exactly the value that people treasure forever. What's your favorite high school memory, based on a moment in time that you remembered from seeing a photo of it? I love remembering past moments; Do you?
